Here's some realities of what I see happening
😕 You hire someone, and they turn out to not be as good as you thought they would be or they let you down. Money, time and effort wasted and you feel like shit. You're now behind and won't be able to achieve your goals this year.
😕 You bend over backwards to make sure your employee is well looked after and then they take advantage of your kindness. You sometimes wonder who's actually in charge.
😕 You have a small team and things seem good, until you realise two staff members have a personality clash which is getting ugly. So, you put your head in the sand and hope one of them leaves.
😕 You're getting questions about holidays, benefits and you just can't keep track of it all and feel like a failure. But why on earth would you have any clue about HR systems and SOPs, if you're not an HR professional?

My team is freelancers not employees, is this still for me? Yes, this is for anyone that manages people, either employees, freelancers, volunteers or zero-hours contractors.
Is this an HR call centre where I can get legal advice for all my issues? No, this is a training bootcamp to teach you how to become great at managing people, so you feel more educated, equipped and empowered to lead your team. Whilst I am an HR Expert and I'm very happy to answer your questions and help you get unstuck, some HR matters may require urgency or 1-1 HR or Legal advice, and this is not the primary focus of the bootcamp.
